RSPIK Women & Children Centre

After two years of construction, the Women and Children Centre at Pantai Indah Kapuk Hospital (RSPIK) was inaugurated on May 5, 2025. The RSPIK Women and Children Centre is a leading service that meets the needs of the PIK community in particular and the wider community in general. The inauguration was conducted by the President Commissioner of the Salim Group, Mr. Anthony Salim, accompanied by the Steering Committee, the Board of Directors of PT. Mandaramedika Utama, specialist doctors, and other invited guests. The inauguration was marked by the cutting of a tumpeng (rice cone) and the cutting of a ribbon to officially symbolize the operation of the Women and Children Centre. A blessing for Pantai Indah Kapuk Hospital, the RSPIK Women & Children Centre building was signed and blessed by His Holiness, Pope Francis, during his visit to Indonesia on September 4, 2024.

The RSPIK Women and Children Centre is separate from the main building and equipped with a connecting bridge to facilitate patient access to all the services provided. Comprehensive, continuous, comfortable, and safe inpatient and outpatient services are available for mothers and children. Supported by the capabilities of specialist and subspecialist doctors, including adequate medical equipment, it provides optimal care for pregnancy planning, labor preparation, and postpartum care, obstetrics and gynecology, gynecological oncology treatment for cancer affecting the female reproductive organs, pelvic floor repair and reconstruction after childbirth and fertility issues, as well as health services and care, including child development. The children's polyclinic is equipped with a playroom to make children more comfortable while waiting in line for doctors. To meet the community's expectations for integrated services, the RSPIK Women & Children Centre also provides on-site laboratory and pharmacy services, streamlining patient time.

The RSPIK Women & Children Centre superior inpatient facilities include state-of-the-art treatment rooms and a beautiful garden, enhancing patient comfort: from class 3 treatment rooms to the President Suite.

In addition to medical facilities, the RSPIK Women & Children Centre building is also equipped with dedicated parking for easy patient access. The elevators are separated into freight, patient, and visitor elevators, ensuring flexible access, ensuring safety and comfort.

Beyond its focus on health issues, the RSPIK Women & Children Centre also participates in activities to enhance creativity, self-development, and mental health in children through school hospital tours. Activities with pregnant women will be held regularly in the future to support the program of preparing for a healthy pregnancy, healthy children, and a happy future.

The RSPIK Women & Children Centre, which was inaugurated and opened to the public on May 5, 2025, is a leading service provider for the Special Region of Jakarta.
