Circumcision is a medical procedure designed to maintain hygiene in the male genital area by removing germs and bacteria, preventing infections, and reducing the risk of transmitting sexually transmitted infections and skin conditions such as phimosis. This procedure is commonly performed for religious, traditional, and health-related reasons.
RSPIK is once again collaborating with Regina Caeli Church on a mass circumcision outreach event in 2026, scheduled for June 21, 2026, to assist 101 children in undergoing circumcision.
This event is highly anticipated by the community, as evidenced by the enthusiasm of parents and children participating in the procedure. The event was attended by the entire leadership of the Regina Caeli Church and the Head of Kapuk Muara Village.
This initiative will continue as part of efforts to improve children’s reproductive health free of charge while simultaneously fostering social solidarity among residents.
